Evening River Navigation – Caimans, Night Monkeys & Nocturnal Wildlife
Tour Description
We will pick you up at 6:00 PM from your hotel and transfer you to the tourist port, where we board our boat to navigate the Madre de Dios and Tambopata rivers, accompanied by your local guide. Using powerful headlamps, we will search the riverbanks for nocturnal wildlife such as caimans, birds, and – with luck – night monkeys (owl monkeys), capybaras, and sloths. The experience also offers stargazing in the clear Amazon sky.
