Wildlife Rescue Center – Rehabilitated Amazon Animals
Tour Description
Located just 11 km from Puerto Maldonado, this is one of the closest wildlife rescue centers to the city. It houses a wide variety of species rescued from illegal trafficking – including monkeys, macaws, parrots, tortoises, sloths, and caimans. The center works to rehabilitate these animals and, whenever possible, return them to their natural habitat. This tour is educational, ethical, and perfect for families who want to support conservation efforts
